Beautiful, sweet, girl dressed in blue, oil painting by American noted artist, Marion Power.

Measures 10” wide x 15 1/4” high, having an image size of 6 1/2” by 11 3/4”.

It is in nice condition in a beautiful gold leaf beaded frame.  Some of her paintings are in the collection of the Louvre in Paris.  It is signed on the lower left.

She was born in London and married Mr. Kirkpatrick in 1906, moving to Waldeboro, Maine.  She was an illustrator for the Harpers Magazine and Woman’s Home Companion, as well as doing many advertisements for Jell-O.  She exhibited in many galleries and passed away in 1962.
