Wonderful sculpture by noted Inuit artist, Seepie Ipellie, titled, "Musk-Ox".

Circa 1981 and measures 4 3/4" x 7 1/2" x 2 1/2".

Features a carved Musk-Ox, in colors of black, gray and white.  He is just adorable and is signed underneath, which you will find in photograph #9 for your convenience.  The original paperwork and tag are with it, as well.

It is in beautiful condition, please review the photographs thoroughly.  Thank you.

Seepie Ipellie was born in 1940 in Pangnirtung, Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada and passed away in 2000 in Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada.

He is a world-renowned Inuit artist known for his sculptures, a carver of stone and other mixed mediums.  Ipellie is among the leading Contemporary Inuit artists, has exhibited in numerous galleries, as well as exhibited in personal and group exhibitions and comes from a family of noted artists.  

This gorgeous sculptures would be a stunning addition for any Inuit collector!  It sure is a keeper, enjoy!!!
