Antique 19th Century Russian icon, Resurrection of Christ - Circa 1880

Beautiful antique Russian Icon, Resurrection of Christ, from the Late 19th Century.

Circa 1880 and measures 8 3/4" high x 7" long.

It is depicting the risen Christ with 2 Angels, one on each side. The halos are beautifully represented for all 3 figures, almost like beams of light are coming from the halos.

The icon is in beautiful condition for the age and is in untouched, original condition. It is all hand painted with beautiful mute colors done in gorgeous detail and gold leaf, while retaining its original varnish.

This piece would look absolutely stunning in any setting. Would be a great addition for any religious or icon collector.
